Philips Consumer Electronics is world player in a wide range of products such as TV, Video and Audio products, Computer monitors, Consumer communications, Set top boxes and Accessories (e.g. Headphones, recordable media,…) The characteristics of products (incl. services) of Philips support the brand-promise "Sense & Simplicity" by being designed around the customerand by being easy to experience. The Innovation Territories of PCL include:

  • Personal well-being and health management: low cost, low threshold technology in the home that enables a personal coaching and training to development a healthy lifestyle.
  • Smart and computing environments: embedded technology that enables low cost and low threshold access to information sources and that allows for a continue sense of being safe and of being able to communicate within the social context of loved ones and families.
  • Easy access: interaction paradigms that fundamentally decrease complexity in the interaction for control and access of content and information.

TP Vision is a dedicated company in the world of visual digital entertainment; fully committed to the renowned Philips TV brand. TP Vision engages in developing, manufacturing and marketing Philips branded TV sets in Europe, Russia, Middle East, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and selected countries in Asia-Pacific excluding China.

We do this by combining our design expertise and innovative Philips TV heritage with the operational excellence, flexibility and speed of TPV. With these combined strengths, we bring high-quality TV sets to the market: smart and easy to use with sophisticated styling. We believe in creating products that touch the human senses and are within reach of all consumers in the markets we operate in.

Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, TP Vision is the exclusive brand licensee of Philips TV for the countries listed above. The Company is 70% owned by TPV and 30% by Royal Philips Electronics, headquartered in the Netherlands. TP Vision employs almost 3,300 people in several locations around the globe.
