The project MyUI has been presented within the ICCHP 2012 conferences

EDF and UNESCO take over the Patronage for ICCHP 2012

Ms. Irina Bokova, UNESCO Director-General: "This International event corresponds well to UNESCO´s strategy and programs for 2012-2013 in the area of communication and information, particularly the biennial sectoral priority entitled "Fostering information and communication capacities for universal access to knowledge", and is directly linked to our ongoing work in this area. We believe that every social group, particularly the most marginalized, should benefit fully from research findings and technological solutions that can help them improve their lives and achieve personal, as well as social, objectives"

Within the ICCHP (International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs) 2012 held in Linz, the project MyUI has submitted a paper, and also has presented the project MyUI within the track of virtual user modelling and adaptation.

Specifically the presentation has shown to the attendees the benefits of the MyUI platform to make accessible a regular purpose application and which are the steps to be followed in the adaptation process.

The ICCHP was focused on Assistive Technoloy (AT) and accessible ICT for people with disabilities and older adults enabling a more independent life, participation and inclusion and improved services and support.
